September collective birthday celebration of Boya International Kindergarten

生命是充满了未知和惊喜的,伴随着每个孩子的成长父母都给予了许多的期望和爱,这是充满意义的一天,博雅国际幼儿园给小寿星们举行了九月集体生日会,这既是一场充满欢声笑语的活动,更是一次别开生面的超学科主题探究。

Life is full of unknowns and surprises.  As each child grows older, parents have given a lot of expectations and love.  This is a meaningful day: Boya International Kindergarten held a September collective birthday party for the little birthday stars.  It is both an activity full of laughter and joy, and also an extraordinary exploration of transdisciplinary themes.

博雅国际幼儿园的家长们真的非常的用心,每一位寿星的家长都给孩子录制了祝福视频,看着视频中爸爸妈妈对孩子的殷殷期望和对幼儿园工作的肯定,在场的的所有人,无论是孩子还是老师,都感受到了一种其乐融融的温暖。

The parents of Boya International Kindergarten are attentive.  Every parent of the birthday star recorded a blessing video for the child.  Watching the affirmation from the parents to their children and our kindergarten, everyone present, whether a child or a teacher, all felt happy and warm.

每一个小寿星都安静的倾听着来自大屏幕的祝福,通过这样的环节,我们也让孩子们深深的感受到了来自家庭的力量和关爱,也鼓励每一个孩子去表达对家人的感恩和热爱,简单一句“谢谢爸爸妈妈”,让感恩的种子在孩子心里悄悄的发芽。

Every little birthday star was quietly listening to the blessings from the big screen.  Through this activity, we also let the children deeply feel the strength and care from their family.  We encourage every child to express gratitude and love to the family.  A simple sentence, “Thank you mom and dad”, germinates the seeds of gratitude quietly in the children’s hearts.

接下去的授珠仪式,把数理概念和生活小常识结合在了一起,一颗大珠子代表一岁,一颗小珠子代表一个月,让每个孩子都去算一算自己实际的年龄,在这样充满仪式感的环节中将科学和数学融合在一起。

The next “Bead Giving Ceremony” combines mathematics and science concepts with common sense of life.  A big bead represents one year, and a small bead represents one month.  Let every child calculate his actual age.  Science and math are integrated in this ritualistic link.

过生日一定是少不了吹蜡烛、许愿和吃蛋糕的,在老师们的组织下,孩子们彼此分享着甜蜜、心愿和关爱。

Blowing candles, making wishes, and eating cakes must be indispensable for birthday celebrations.  Under the organization of the teachers, the children shared their sweetness, wishes and care with each other.

幼儿园一日活动皆课程,回到班级之后,老师们继续开展这次超学科主题探究,“How old are you?”结合情景,孩子们轻松的掌握了关于年龄的英语对话,同时把每一个孩子把代表自己年龄的珠串挂到了主题墙上,加深了数理的概念。

Kindergarten’s daily activities are all courses.  After returning to the class, the teachers continue to carry out this trans-disciplinary theme exploration, “How old are you?” Combined with the situation, the children easily mastered the English conversation about age, and at the same time, each child hang the bead string representing one’s own age on the birthday wall, deepens the concept of mathematics and science.

试问,这样生动的学习,哪个孩子会不喜欢呢?

“Which child wouldn’t like such lovely learning?”
